Cradled between two towering limestone cliffs, the pebble beach nestled at the bottom of the gorge is celebrated as one of the cleanest and most dramatic swimming spots in Dubrovnik. Turquoise waves lap against pale shingle beneath sheer rock walls that rise dramatically into the Mediterranean sky.

In the cliffs enclosing Bellevue Bay, wave action hollowed out semi-submerged sea grottos accessible to kayakers and swimmers. In mid-afternoon, sunlight penetrates the water and illuminates the grotto vaults in an ethereal blue radiance, reminiscent of the Blue Grotto of Capri, casting shimmering azure patterns on the submerged stone vaults.
